INDIAN CRICKET SCHEDULE FOR 2021 ANNOUNCED BY BCCI 2021
Indian Cricket schedule for 2021 is announced. Indian Cricket team has a very hectic schedule in the year 2021. In 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, India played only 2 series against New Zealand and Australia. Except for the T20 series India lost the Test and ODI series. Against Australia, India won the T20 series by 2–1 but lost the ODI series. But India ended the year with a memorable boxing day test win at MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). India will play 9 International matches and IPL in 2021. This year will be challenging for team India but hopefully, this new India will thrive in tough circumstances.
The remaining two matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (India Tour of Australia 2019–20)
India will start the year with the best format of the game. They will play 2 test matches in January. The first test match will start from 7th January at SCG (Sydney Cricket Ground). Currently, the series is level with 1–1. The last match will be played in Brisbane on 15th January.

2nd test at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai (13th Feb-17th feb)

4th test at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad (4th Mar-8th Mar)
5 T20I matches
1st T20 at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad on 12th march.
2nd T20 at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad on 14th march
3rd T20 at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad on 16th march
4th T20 at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad on 18th march

1st ODI at Maharashtra Cricket Association, Pune on 23rd march

IPL 2021-INDIAN CRICKET SCHEDULE FOR 2021
IPL 2021 is likely to be held in India in April and it will continue till May, if the pandemic doesn’t get worse. The fixture will be announced in April probably. Last year due to the Covid-19 outbreak it was played in UAE.
India tour of Sri Lanka & Asia Cup-INDIAN CRICKET SCHEDULE FOR 2021
India will travel to Srilanka in June for 3 ODI matches and 5 T20 matches. And in the same country, the Asia Cup will be played after 2 years. Schedules are yet to be announced.
India tour of Zimbabwe
Almost after 4 years, India will tour Zimbabwe in July for possibly the T20 and ODI series. The series was supposed to happen in 2020 but Covid-19 pushed it to 2021.
India tour of England
India’s England tour will be the most challenging tour of 2021. England will play 5 test matches with India. last time India lost the test series by 4–1.
1st test at Trent Bridge, Nottingham (4th Aug-8th Aug)
2nd test at Lord’s, London (12th Aug-16th Aug)
3rd test at Headingley, Leeds (25th Aug-29th Aug)
4h test at Kennington Oval, London (2nd Sep-6th sep)
5th test at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester (10th Sep-14th Sep)
South Africa Tour of India
India will play some matches against South Africa in October before the 2021 T20 World Cup.
2021 T20I World Cup
India will host the 2021 T20 World Cup in October most probably. Last time India finished the tournament in the semi-finals. Optimistically India will dominate as it’s been phenomenal over the years in the T20s.
New Zealand Tour of India
India will play 2 tests and 3 T20s in November-December. Last time India lost the test series by 2–0 against New Zealand in New Zealand. So it will be the best opportunity for India for retaliation. In the T20s hopefully, India will continue domination.
India Tour of South Africa-INDIAN CRICKET SCHEDULE FOR 2021
India’s last series will be with South Africa. India will tour South Africa for test and T20 matches.
